Montana Mountain Adventures with
Monte and Mary Ellen Schnur
 Whether you’re
looking for a high adventure hunting camp for big game such as elk,
deer, bear, mountain lion, sheep, and antelope, or a great summer
vacation for your family, Monte’s Guiding and Mountain Outfitting will
take you on the Montana adventure of a lifetime. We are a
licensed outfitting service and have been outfitting and guiding in
Montana for over 35 years.
We offer rifle and archery
hunts for all nine Montana big game species. Our hunting camps are
located in the mountain foothills of Southwest and Central Montana.
We provide traditional fair chase hunts on foot and horseback, and travel
by four wheel drive. All hunts include fully equipped camps, complete
with heated sleeping quarters, cots, and cooking facilities. We have recently converted
our main camp from a tent camp to a comfortable 3,000 square foot
lodge, located on our main ranch lease. We provide
round trip transportation between airport and camp at nominal cost.
Caping of trophies and preparation of meat for processing is included as
part of your guided hunt.
A
fully guided hunt is offered for
archery and rifle seasons. There is one guide per each two
hunters,
and all cooking is provided by a competent camp cook. Trophy
hunts,
with one hunter per guide, are available by special arrangement for all
hunting seasons. An economy hunt includes the services of a fully
guided hunt, but three hunters share the guide. For more

 | I'm blessed to make a living doing what I like best, and sharing it with other
people. I've been guiding in southwest and central Montana for over thirty
years, a licensed outfitter since 1971. Outfitting is my full-time occupation.
I'm working with and observing nature in one activity or another every month of
the year. Ours is a family business, with my wife, our daughters, and myself
working together with our hardworking and congenial crew, to show you the trip
